Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process when you use LetsGoCV, both on the website (www.letsgocv.com) and in the app for iPhone and Android, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. The website and the app use the same account and the same resumes.

1. Data controller

OPHARANA LLC, 99 Wall Street, Suite 1432, New York, NY 10005 (United States). You can write to us at hello@opharana.com with any question about your data.

2. What data we process

  • Account data: your email address and password (stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google profile picture. If you sign in with Apple (iPhone only), we receive an Apple identifier and your email address, or the private relay address that Apple creates if you choose to hide yours.
  • Content of your resumes: everything you write in the editor on the website or in the app (name, contact details, education, experience, skills and, if you add one, your photo). In the app, you choose the photo from your phone's gallery yourself: we only receive the photo you select, not the rest of your photos.
  • Job ads: if you use “Tailor to a job ad” in the app, the text of the job ad you paste is saved with that version of your resume and synced with your account. Keywords are calculated on your own phone, without artificial intelligence, and the job ad is not sent to anyone else.
  • Purchase data on the website: the plan you bought, payment status, amount, and customer and subscription identifiers. Your card details never reach us: they are handled directly by Stripe.
  • Purchase data in the app: the product you bought, the date, the subscription status and the transaction identifiers, which we receive through RevenueCat. Payment is collected by Apple or Google and we never see your payment details.
  • Advertising in the app: if you do not have a plan, the app shows Google AdMob ads. To do so, the following are processed: your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow it in Apple's tracking prompt), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, technical data about your device (such as its model, operating system and language) and your interactions with the ads.
  • Reminders: the app schedules a reminder on your phone every three months so you can keep your resume up to date, and you can turn it off in Settings. It is a local notification: it is created on your phone and does not send us any data.
  • Preferences: language, cookie choices on the website and ad choices in the app.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser or device, and access logs generated by our providers when serving the website and the app.
  • Usage data: only if you accept analytics cookies on the website, browsing statistics collected through Google Analytics.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

  • Providing the service (creating, saving, syncing and downloading your resumes, tailoring them to a job ad, and managing your account): performance of a contract.
  • Charging for your purchases and subscriptions, activating in your account what you buy on the website or in the app, and meeting our tax obligations: performance of a contract and legal obligation.
  • Sending you service emails (welcome, account confirmation, password reset and purchase confirmation): performance of a contract.
  • Analyzing how the website is used and showing advertising on it: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings”.
  • Showing ads in the app: your consent where the law requires it. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for it with Google's consent form when you open the app, and on iPhone Apple also asks whether you allow tracking. If you do not give it, you can keep using the app with non-personalized ads.
  • Protecting the service and preventing fraud: our legitimate interest.

How to withdraw your consent to ads in the app: in the app itself, under Settings → Ad privacy (available in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland); on iPhone, under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, by deleting or resetting your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

We do not sell your data or use it to make automated decisions that affect you.

4. Who we share it with

With the providers we need for LetsGoCV to work, who process the data on our instructions:

  • Supabase: database and user authentication.
  • Vercel: website hosting.
  • Stripe: payments on the website. Stripe acts as the merchant of record for purchases (Stripe Managed Payments), calculates and remits taxes, and processes your payment data as a controller under its own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat: management of in-app purchases. It checks with Apple and Google that they are valid and notifies us so that we can activate them in your account.
  • Resend: delivery of service emails.
  • Google: Google sign-in, if you choose to use it, and Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google AdSense on the website, only if you accept the corresponding cookies.

In addition, the following third parties process data as independent controllers, under their own privacy policies:

  • Apple (App Store): collects payment for the purchases you make in the iPhone app and manages their renewals, cancellations and refunds. Apple also handles Sign in with Apple, if you choose to use it.
  • Google (Google Play): collects payment for the purchases you make in the Android app and manages their renewals, cancellations and refunds.
  • Google AdMob: shows the ads in the app and measures their effectiveness. You can see how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

We may also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires us to.

5. International transfers

OPHARANA LLC is a United States company, as are several of our providers, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. How long we keep it

  • Your account and your resumes, for as long as your account remains active. If you delete it, we erase them as explained in section 7.
  • Purchase data, for the periods required by tax and accounting regulations (kept by Stripe, Apple or Google as the merchants of record).
  • The draft you save on the website without logging in stays only in your browser until you delete it. Resumes you create in the app without an account stay only on your phone; if you later sign in, they are uploaded to your account.
  • Technical logs, for the period set by our providers, usually a few weeks.

7. How to delete your account

You can delete your account at any time, free of charge, in any of these ways:

  • In the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account.
  • On the website: log in at www.letsgocv.com and go to My account → Delete my account.
  • By email: write to us at hello@opharana.com from the email address linked to your account, asking us to delete it. We will do so within 30 days at most and confirm it to you.

What is deleted immediately: your account, all your resumes (with their photos and any job ad texts you saved), your profile data, any unused downloads and your plan. Deletion cannot be undone.

Subscriptions: if you subscribed on the website, the subscription is canceled when you delete your account. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account or the app does not cancel it: you must cancel it in your store account so that it does not renew, as explained in the Terms and Conditions.

What is kept: the billing data that the law requires to be kept, which Stripe, Apple or Google retain as merchants of record, and the transaction history of in-app purchases in RevenueCat, linked to an identifier that no longer corresponds to any account. If your data was in a backup, it disappears from it within 30 days at most.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, rectify, erase or port your data, or to restrict its processing, and you can object to that processing, by writing to hello@opharana.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country (in Spain, the AEPD; in the United Kingdom, the ICO).

9. Security

All communication with the website and the app is encrypted (HTTPS) and each user can only access their own resumes. Even so, no system is infallible: if we detect a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Minors

LetsGoCV is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. If you are under that age, you need the permission of your parents or guardians to use it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, if the change is significant, we will let you know by email, on the website or in the app.
